The DNS Sleuth

The DNS Sleuth – a tool for automated checking of DNS zones for errors. I worked on it in the early 2000's, so it supports the DNS standards of that time. This means no IPv6 and no DNSSEC, so its use is currently limited. If you want to bring it to the 21th century, you are welcome.

Current version:1.4.4  (2008-05-21)

Online version

Once upon a time, there was an online version of the Sleuth at atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz. As Sleuth is no longer usable for serious DNS checking, I shut it down. If you are seriously missing it, please let me know. Or run it at your site, the web interface is included in the distribution archive.
